The 30-second reset

Before anything else, try these four quick checks. They solve more problems than you'd think:

  1. 1

    Restart your phone.

A fresh start clears out most hiccups.

  2. 2

    Check your connection.

Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data and see which one is steadier.

  3. 3

    Free up some space.

Make sure there's comfortably more free storage than the 67.7MB 918Kiss needs.

  4. 4

Android fixes

"App not installed"

Why it happens

There isn't enough space, an older copy is getting in the way, or the download didn't finish properly.

Fix it

  1. Free up some storage, then try again.
  2. If you have an older copy of 918Kiss, uninstall it first. Your account is safe.
  3. Download a fresh file from the download page and install that one.
  4. Still no luck? Your Android version may be too old. Check whether your phone can play

"Blocked by Play Protect"

Why it happens

Google Play Protect double-checks any app that doesn't come from Google Play. It's a normal step for apps installed this way.

Fix it

  1. Check the file is 67.7MB and the version is 10.5.7.
  2. If both match, tap More details, then Install anyway.
  3. Leave Play Protect itself switched on. It keeps looking after your phone.

"Your phone isn't allowed to install unknown apps from this source"

Why it happens

Android asks your permission before installing an app from outside Google Play.

Fix it

  1. Tap Settings on the message.
  2. Switch on Allow from this source, then tap back and Install.
  3. Once 918Kiss is installed, switch the permission off again.

"There was a problem parsing the package"

Why it happens

The file didn't download completely, or your Android version is older than the app needs.

Fix it

  1. Delete the file and download it again on a steady connection.
  2. Check the new file is 67.7MB before you open it.
  3. If it still appears, check your Android version.

The download won't start (tak boleh download)

Why it happens

A weak connection, a full phone, or the browser pausing the download.

Fix it

  1. Switch to a steadier connection, ideally Wi-Fi.
  2. Free up some storage.
  3. Open the download page in Chrome and tap the button again.
  4. Keep the screen on until the download finishes.

"Untrusted Enterprise Developer"

Why it happens

Your iPhone needs your OK before opening apps from outside the App Store. It's a one-time step.

Fix it

  1. Go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management.
  2. Tap the developer name under Enterprise App.
  3. Tap Trust, then confirm.
  4. Head back to your home screen and open 918Kiss. You're in.

Unable to install 918Kiss iOS app?

Why it happens

The connection dropped mid-install, storage is tight, or an unfinished copy is stuck on your home screen.

Fix it

  1. If there's a greyed-out icon on your home screen, press and hold it, then delete it.
  2. Switch to Wi-Fi and make sure there's free storage.
  3. Open the iPhone download in Safari and tap Install again.
  4. Restart your iPhone if it still won't budge, then try once more.

"App no longer available"

Why it happens

918Kiss on your iPhone needs refreshing with the current build. It happens from time to time with apps installed outside the App Store.

Fix it

  1. Delete the app from your home screen. Your account stays safe.
  2. Install the latest build from the iPhone download.
  3. Trust the developer again if asked (see above), then sign in.

Fixes for both

Stuck on an update or the loading screen

Why it happens

The first launch and each 918Kiss update download a few extra files, and a shaky connection can pause them.

Fix it

  1. Stay on a steady connection, ideally Wi-Fi, and give it a moment.
  2. Close the app fully, then open it again. It picks up where it left off.
  3. Still frozen? Make sure you're on the latest build, version 10.5.7. Get it here

Connection error or "timed out"

Why it happens

Your phone can't reach the game servers for a moment, usually because of the connection.

Fix it

  1. Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
  2. Turn Airplane mode on for five seconds, then off again.
  3. Check your phone's date and time are set to automatic. A wrong clock can block secure connections.
  4. Restart your router if you're on home Wi-Fi.

918Kiss closes as soon as it opens

Why it happens

The phone is short on memory or storage, or the build is out of date.

Fix it

  1. Close other apps, then restart your phone.
  2. Free up some storage.
  3. Uninstall, then install the latest build fresh from the download page. Your account comes right back when you sign in.

Still not working? Try a clean start

If nothing above did the trick, a clean reinstall sorts out almost everything else:

Is it an account problem, like a locked account or a forgotten password? Those are handled by whoever set up your account. See login help

  1. Uninstall 918Kiss completely.
  2. Restart your phone.
  3. Download the latest build fresh from the download page.
  4. Install and sign in. Your account is exactly where you left it.

Stay ahead

Avoid problems before they start

  • Always install from a checked file. Match the version and size on the download page before you open it.
  • Keep some space free. Updates run smoother when your phone isn't packed full.
  • Update when a new build lands. The latest build keeps everything running nicely.
  • Keep your phone's software up to date. It helps every app, including this one.
